Brü is an indoor German-style beer garden in the heart of Center City. With inspirations from famous German figures like Mad King Ludwig and the Brothers Grimm, we gave the bar a personality that was a bit…off-kilter.
The challenge was to create a website for Brü that was as distinctive as the bar itself. So we pulled up our lederhosen and got to work, eventually hitting on the idea that the best way to show off the bar was to let the viewer walk right through it…virtually. Sure the idea was a bit out there …but so was Brü.
The site is built with a combination of parallax scrolling and image sequencing. Scroll all the way to the end to see the sausage raiders.
